The flooding is so bad in Blaine County that they have declared a "State of Emergency." Here's what areas are being affected the most.

Blaine County, which includes Ketchum, Hailey, and Sun Valley is dealing with massive flooding. Lt. Governor Brad Little declared the "State of Emergency" so they can utilize state resources.

The situation is being described as dangerous with one of the worst spots being the Warm Springs Creek area.

Warm temperatures mean the flooding won't subside anytime soon, in fact officials expect similar conditions for the next three weeks.

Homeowners in the area say sandbags aren't even helping because they wash away pretty quickly.

The Big Wood River has reached nearly 8 feet. According to KTVB, 7 feet means moderate flooding, but at 8 feet extensive flooding is bound to happen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our neighbors. We certainly hope they can get the resources they need to control the flooding as much as possible.
