Best Winter Festivals in Idaho

The Teton Valley's Great Snow Festival runs January 19th-22nd. Here you'll find a snowscapes sculpture competition, nordic races, a snow plane showcase, and the 6th Annual Snow Ball to the Backcountry Movie Festival!!

The Fire and Ice Winterfest will be held February 3rd - 5th. It features penguin races, fire acrobatics, wine tastings, a swimsuit race, and the Polar Bear Float Parade!

The McCall Winter Carnival dates all the way back to 1924. It's a 10 day celebration of all things winter. There's a huge ice sculpture competition,a polar plunge, concerts, parades, and fireworks! This year's winter carnival runs Jan. 27th -Feb. 5th.

The Sandpoint Winter Carnival has been around since 1973. It features the K9 Keg Pull, fireworks, concerts, and a light parade! It runs February 15th - 26th.

The Priest Lake State Park Winterfest is fun for the whole family! There's crafts for the kids, free movies, and a moonlight snowshoeing adventure!

Even though this festival is over for the winter, you can mark it on your calendar for next year! It's something I know I do not want to miss out on! There's a giant snow ramp, music, and beer!
