It's weekend time! Here's your guide to the best beer in Boise!!

These breweries have been ranked the best beer that Boise has to offer!

1. Payette Brewing Company: A man named Mike Francis left his corporate job at Boeing for brewing beer in 2010. You can find the beer in most local grocery stores or visit the brewery in Garden City.

2. Boise Brewing: This is one of the newest breweries in the Treasure Valley. Located near Bogus Basin, it was originally called Bogus Brewing. The brewery raised over $30,000 to get started through a Kickstarter campaign and the coolest thing about the place is that the tasting room has a clear cut view of the brewing process.

3. Cloud 9 Nanopub: In the heart of the North End, Cloud 9 Nanopub is another local success story. It's best known for their extensive line of rotating beers on tap!

4. Sockeye Grill & Brewery: Located near the Sawtooth Mountain Range, it was founded in 1996 and now has two locations in Boise. Sockeye Grill & Brewery is also known for their great food and seasonal brews.

5. Crooked Fence Barrelhouse: It's located in Eagle and their motto is "We love beer. We love to drink beer, and we love to make beer. Our goal is to always have something interesting to offer, whether its the selection of seasonal beers we brew, or the artwork for our products. We don't expect to change the world with what we do. We just want to make some good beer and have fun doing it!"

6. Powderhaus Brewing Company: We've held a few Rick & Carly Blind Dates at Powderhaus and the environment is so cool, simple, and classy. It's been said that the First Turns IPA is the best in the valley. I love that you can bring your own food! It's such a fun place to gather with friends and family.

7. Highland Hollow Brewhouse: This is Boise's oldest brewery and its been going strong since 1992. Located at the bottom of Bogus Basin Road, regulars say not only do they have great beer, but the food is always fresh and really yummy!
