Sweet, sweet wine. I love it. I like to drink it I like to cook with it, and now I can actually say, I like to bottle it. That's right, I got an amazing opportunity to help with the bottling process at Indian Creek Winery in Kuna. It was awesome, and I have to admit I have a much bigger appreciation for wine. There's a LOT of work that goes into enjoying a glass of wine, and I was only there for a few hours.

I've had the chance to enjoy several events out at Indian Creek; my favorite being their Mother's Day event, where they have several local artisans selling their products, live music, and of course lots of wine! They even host several fun runs throughout the year, so you know, you can earn your delicious liquid meal. Their Shamrock Shuffle is coming up on March 17.

If you haven't had a chance to get out to their tasting room, do yourself a favor. One of the BEST and oldest wineries in the Treasure Valley. When you do get there, I suggest trying their Merlot (the ONLY Merlot I will ever drink) and their Gewurztraminer varietal 'White Iris' (omg, it's making me drool just thinking about it, it's that good). Plus, their labels are the prettiest out there!

And if all THAT wasn't enough, you might even see someone that looks very familiar. Owner, Tammy Stowe-McClure, has been competing on America Ninja Warrior for three years! They even have an 'America Ninja Warrior' case special for ya. Check out what the bottling process was like below!
