It sounds like a scene straight out of a horror movie. A Boise Mother found her and her son in the foothills covered in hundreds of hornets!

Bri Miller and her 5 year old son Bridger love going to Elephant Loop in the Boise Foothills, but their trip on Wednesday turned into a nightmare.

It started when Bridger, who had never been stung before, was stung on the head by a hornet and he swiped it away.

Next thing Bri knew, the hornets were swarming around them in the hundreds! According to KTVB, she told Bridger to run and called 911. To hear the actual 911 call click HERE.

Since Bridger had never been stung before, Bri didn't know if he was allergic, but luckily EMT arrived and both mother and son are physically o.k.

Bri says the emotional damage is more severe and that Bridger has no desire to hike the trails after the traumatizing experience.
