The tradition of Fourth of July fireworks with the family at Ann Morrison Park will be different this year.  They've moved.

The flooding has left Ann Morrison Park damp, muddy, wet and bringing in tens of thousands of people would not only be miserable for those sitting on the grass... but very damaging to the park itself.  So Boise City has moved their fireworks to Expo Idaho in Garden City.

The Expo Idaho offers a wide open space for thousands of families and allows fireworks to be set off without danger.  It's nowhere close to the flooding areas of the Boise river so the ground will be dry and comfortable.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. and there is no fee.
