An Indoor Water Park in Idaho? Yep!
Just because it's the middle of winter doesn't mean you can't enjoy the fun of a water park! That's because Idaho is home to a full indoor water park! I had absolutely no idea that this even existed, but here it is, and it looks like a darn good time.
According to Only In Your State, Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark is open year-round in the north Idaho city of Kellogg. And seriously, you're not going to even think about the frigid temperatures outside, because they keep this puppy at a cozy 84 degrees!
Aside from awesome pools and water attractions, Silver Rapids also has a really awesome "standing wave" called the 'FlowRider.' On this thing, you can surf or body board all day long!
If surfing isn't really you're 'thing' and would prefer to just chill, you can take sit back and relax on your tube while you check out the entire park on the 315-foot lazy river.
And if you want to feel very VIP, you can rent out cabanas equipped with TVs so you can catch the game while you're there. This place is sounding more and more amazing! If you're planning to stay for a couple days, admission to the water park is free if you stay at Morning Star Lodge, however, you can get day passes too. Tickets cost $34.95 (4+) and 3 and under are free. CLICK HERE to book online!
