You're sitting in traffic at Fairview and Eagle (who hasn’t, right?), second in line. The light turns green. The car in front of you doesn't move...Traffic is going by you in the other lane, and you can see the driver's head in front of you is facing down. He's texting and doesn't notice it's time to go. So you have to do it…you have to hit your horn. After all…you’ve got a cold drink waiting at The Village, right?

"The Texter" has been named the worst driving behavior -- for the third year in a row -- by travel website Expedia.com.

Over 1,000 adult U.S. drivers were asked to give their opinions of other drivers, including which bad habits aggravate them the most. Here’s what they found!

The 12 worst driving behaviors:

  1. The Texter: 22 percent (grrrrrrrr)
  2. The Tailgater: 14 percent (get off me!)
  3. The Last-Minute Line-Cutter: 13 percent (really dislike these people)
  4. The Left-Lane Hog: 11 percent
  5. The Crawler: 8 percent (come on…already…you’re killin’ me)
  6. The Multitasker: 8 percent
  7. The Swerver: 8 percent
  8. The Speeder: 5 percent
  9. The Drifter: 5 percent
  10. The Honker: 3 percent (so you’re guilty if you honk at any of the above? Boo-o-o)
  11. The Inconsiderate: 2 percent
  12. The Red Light Racer: 1 percent

Know any others you can tag a Treasure Valley Driver with? Let’s hear ‘em….and….go!
