This has not been a good week for Treasure Valley drivers and it continued this morning with a head-on crash at the intersection of Meridian and Columbia Roads.

According to KIVI TV the crash was reported just after 7 a.m. and the one fortunate thing we can take from this accident is that there's been no fatalities which is unusual when it comes to head-on collisions.

One person has been taken to the hospital but authorities say the injury is not life threatening.

All hands were on deck for the crash including Ada County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Kuna Police officers, and paramedics.  The cause of the crash is still unknown as authorities continue their investigation.  Traffic was blocked off for about an hour and a half but everything is back in the clear as of now.
