A Personal St. Jude Story: McKendree & Luis

Many of us know about the St. Jude Research Hospital, but how many of us really know the stories of the patients who fill the halls? Every moment, there are countless children who are fighting for their lives in our city.

At St. Jude’s doctors and nurses work tirelessly to treat the toughest cases, advance cures and ensure they can share their research with the world in a global effort to understand, treat, and defeat pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

While the hospital is well known, we don’t always get to learn patients’ story. One story, we’re proud to share with you today. Luis and McKendree both underwent treatment at St. Jude. Together, they were able to share an incredible bond and an incredible journey of trying to beat their illnesses and come out survivors.
