82-Year-Old Man Dies Going Wrong Way On Maple Drive

According to KTVB investigators are baffled as of now and do not know why an 82-year-old man suddenly drove into oncoming traffic crashing head-on with a pick-up truck this morning on Mape Grove Road near the Victory Road intersection.  The crash took place around 10 a.m. and the 82-year-old has been reported as deceased.  His name has not yet been released to the public.

There was a woman driving the pickup truck and she was immediately transported to the hospital.  No word on who she is or her condition at this time but we do know that both vehicles were badly damaged.

Some think there may have been some type of medical condition that caused the 82-year-old man to veer off into oncoming traffic but all theories right now are just that... theories.  We'll keep you posted as more information comes in.  Our thoughts and prayers are with both of these victims and their families.
