Get ready for a different kind of storm here in the Treasure Valley.  We've had snow, rain, flooding, and now a high power wind storm is heading in for Thursday.

Heavy duty drenching rainfall will kick in tomorrow night but the rain is bringing a friend to make things a bit worse for us.  Winds as high as 50 miles per hour will hit the Treasure Valley and the high goes from the 60's to the 40's.

Winds this hard have caused cyclones and tornadoes although we won't be seeing any of that here.  It'll just be good old fashioned hard core wind with a lot of rain.

This is a one day deal so if you can hold the fort down through Thursday, a bit of sunshine should hit us on Friday and the weekend looks good with a few clouds but mostly sunny skies with highs back in the 60's.
