One woman in the hospital, hours of traffic, and people from Nampa, Caldwell, Wilder, and Twin Falls all involved in a chain reaction pileup that led to hours of traffic on I-84 this morning.

According to KTVB 37-year-old Kenneth McAllister of Nampa wasn't paying attention while driving eastbound on I-84 this morning around 8:45 near the exit to Northside Boulevard.  McAllister was either not paying attention or just failed to slow down in time rear ending 59-year-old Duane Crawford of Caldwell who then rear-ended 69-year-old Bonnie New of Wilder who then rear ended 33-year-old Brian Morgan of Twin Falls.

The only person hurt enough to end up going to the hospital was Bonnie New who was immediately transported to St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa.  We do not know of her condition yet.  We're hoping for the best.

The Idaho State Police are currently investigating the accident.
