Things can get nasty on the roads. I'm not the best driver myself, so I've had many people flip me off, roll their eyes, and honk at me, but this road rage got so bad it led to the death of this 22-year-old man.

Curtis Russell's body was found lying in the road at about 4:12 p.m. on Halloween afternoon. He'd been run over by 65-year-old Jeffery Stone who had killed him in an act of road rage.

The whole thing started in Clatsop County, Oregon near the Oregon Coast. Eyewitnesses say according to KTVB, that the two men kept passing each other on HWY 30. As the older man was turning onto Old Mill Town Road, Curtis passed him again and then stopped his truck in the middle of the road. He then reportedly got out of his vehicle and walked towards Jeffery Stone while carrying a baseball bat.

Before Curtis attacked, Mr. Stone backed his truck up, ran the young man over, and then dragged his body for a quarter mile to where he was ultimately found.

Police say as far as they know, the two men did not know each other and Jeffery Stone has been booked into the Clatsop County Jail facing charges of manslaughter, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and DUI.

Let's all aim to be a little more tolerant on the roads. I don't care what is going on, it should never ever end like this.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and friends affected by this terrible tragedy.
