Two Treasure Valley residents are dead after this horrific crash at the Nevada border.

35 year old Luis M. Salas Ramirez of Garden City and 49 year old Parrish W. Speegle of Boise are no longer with us after a horrible crash that happened yesterday around 5:30 pm along U.S. 95; 30 miles North of the Nevada border.

Oregon State Police say a 2000 Toyota Tundra crossed the center line and crashed into the Chevy Trail Blazer that was occupied by Ramirez and Speegle. Another passenger, 42 year old William K. Speegle was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The driver of the Tundra was treated for injuries at the scene and has been charged with assault, reckless driving, driving under the influence, and two counts of manslaughter.

According to KTVB, HWY 95 was closed for more than 6 hours.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved.
