1st Time Ever All Four 5A Football Teams In Semi Are From Treasure Valley

There has always been a mix of 5A teams coming out of Idaho to represent the best of the best when it gets down to the semifinals for 5A football.  Until now!  All four teams are from right here in the Treasure Valley.

The Capitols have a 9-1 record and will host Rocky Mountain who comes in at 9-2.  Eagle High is the only undefeated team coming in at 10-0 and they'll host Mountain View who have a 9-2 record.

Long road trips and home field advantage will be a bit different this playoff season.  It's not too hard for visiting fans to drive a couple miles to help fill up stadiums for some of Idaho's biggest football games of the year.

The 5A championship will be held at Albertsons Stadium again meaning travel will be very convenient for the two teams who move on to the Big Game.  Championship game is set for November 19.
