14-Year-Old-Shot in Caldwell Drive-By Shooting

Just 14-years-old, a teenager in Caldwell has been shot in a drive-by shooting and the suspects are still at large. 

The shooting happened at 3:40 this morning along Helen Lane. Bullets ripped through the house and one, unfortunately, hit a teenager whose identity has not been released to the public yet. We don't even know if the victim is a boy or a girl yet, but we do know that the injury is serious.

According to KTVB, authorities are calling the shooting targeted and gang-related, but they have not identified the suspects and they are still on the lose. It is not clear if the teenager was an intended victim for not. The teen is currently in the hospital being treated for the gunshot wound.

The FBI is already involved in this case and is offering up a $5000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. If you have any information please contact Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
