I-84 was at a standstill this afternoon due to a high speed chase that reached 100 MPH.

At about 1:20 this afternoon police tried to pull over a man for speeding. He didn't stop as most of us would, instead he led officers on a high speed chase through the streets of Nampa.

At one point the suspect crashed into another vehicle at the 16th Avenue overpass and then hit a parked car along 15th Avenue north. Luckily, no one was hurt in the accidents, but the chase did not end there.

He hopped on I-84 heading eastbound from Nampa Boulevard to the Ten Mile overpass which shut down the interstate.

Police finally caught up to the vehicle and according to KTVB, several people were taken into custody.

The freeway has since re-opened but the names of those involved have not been made public yet.
