SafeWise just announce the top 10 states in America with the most overworked police officers and Idaho is at number 3!

SafeWise analysts considered the most recent FBI crime data from the Census Bureau data to rank the most overworked police forces per 1,000 people.

Every officer in Idaho has about 483 people to watch over. That’s why Idaho was the third busiest state on the list. Each officer takes on an average of 19.35 property and violent crimes, even though the state reported the third least property and violent crimes per capita (20.68). We can assume that since Idaho has compact cities like Boise and towns with much lower populations, space had something to do with this disparity.

Nevada came in at number 2 and the American state with the most over worked police officers is Michigan.  Check out the Top 10 HERE.
